It seems that recently it has had a bit of a slimming down, with many parts of the site being reduced to &#8216;<a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/newswatch\/ukfs\/hi\/profiles\/default.stm\">nothing to<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/newswatch\/ukfs\/hi\/notes_and_corrections\/default.stm\">see here<\/a>&#8216; messages. However, by following just one link from the main homepage: &#8216;styleguide&#8217; and you will notice the left hand menu still has a link to the <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/newswatch\/ukfs\/hi\/notes_and_corrections\/notes_a_-_z\/default.stm\">archived &#8216;notes&#8217; pages<\/a>. Most BBC &#8216;downsized&#8217; sites are <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/onthisday\/default.stm\" title=\"check the notice at the top\">simply<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/cult\/\">frozen<\/a>, I wonder why they didn&#8217;t do the same here.
